What we're building

We're pre-launch — building in the open. Every week we post what actually shipped: real features, real fixes, plainly described. No hype, nothing claimed before it's true.

Week of 13 July

13–18 July 2026
New
  • Sign out of every device at once
A new "sign out everywhere" option in Settings → Security ends every active session in one click — useful if a device is lost or you think a password’s been compromised.
  • Custom question forms for bloggers
Bloggers can now build a reusable question form and send it out with a secure link — no account needed to answer. The photographer gets notified when a response comes in and can read the full answer history in-app.
  • A real page for your blog
Bloggers can now build their own public blog page — including an image upload section — and appear in a public directory. Blog pages also have a proper, readable web address instead of a random code.
  • Our legal pages went live
Our Privacy Policy, Terms, and related legal pages are now live with our real company details, an effective date, and a working way to request your data be deleted.
  • Delete your own account
You can now permanently delete your own account and all its data yourself, with no need to contact support.
Improved
  • The carousel editor — a big stability pass
Dragging photos onto slides is more reliable, including on touch screens and with more than one finger. Panorama photos no longer get cropped incorrectly or show a stuck loading spinner. Favouriting and templates behave correctly, and the export/send flow now correctly tells you when something’s already been sent instead of letting you send it twice.
  • A bigger, better carousel template selection
Replaced the template catalogue with a larger set of higher-quality, ready-made layouts. Applying a second template now adds its slides instead of replacing the ones you already had.
Fixed
  • Lightroom now publishes the exact photo you sent
Fixed an important bug where publishing from the Lightroom plugin could post the wrong photo — the oldest one in your gallery — instead of the one you actually picked.
  • Instagram connection fixes
Your connected account now shows its own name and photo instead of the linked Facebook user’s. Disconnecting an account properly removes it instead of leaving a leftover entry, and Instagram credentials are now kept correctly separate from Facebook’s.
  • Scheduling a post with no destination
Fixed a bug that let you schedule a post without selecting any platform to send it to. You’ll now get a clear error instead.
  • A data-loss risk when deleting a gallery
Fixed a bug where deleting a gallery with a pending data-deletion request could permanently erase files that should have stayed protected. Deletion is now correctly blocked until that’s resolved.
  • A security fix in blogger response forms
Fixed a security issue that could have let a blogger tamper with a couple’s response record. No accounts or payment data were affected.
  • Cleaner disconnect behaviour
Disconnecting a connected social account now properly clears its stored access tokens instead of leaving them behind.

Week of 7 July

7–12 July 2026
New
  • Photo library auto-organised by scene
Every photo you upload now gets tagged automatically with a scene category — ceremony, reception, speeches, entertainment, confetti, candid guest shots, and more (13 in total) — and you can filter your library by category with one tap.
  • New public feature pages, a comparison page, and a features hub
Published pages describing what WedSchedulePro actually does: organising your media, posting to socials, designing your posts, the blog tool, and a freshly redesigned Lightroom page — plus a hub to browse them all and a direct comparison against Later.
  • Blog editor rebuilt with a live SEO panel and an AI writing helper
The blog post editor now has a cleaner, writing-first layout, a live panel that scores your title, meta description and keyword as you type with clear colour-coded guidance, and a "Write with AI" option (Studio plan) that drafts a post — or just a section — from a short description of the wedding.
  • Business settings: set your site domain
Added a settings page where you tell WedSchedulePro your business website address, so your own site gets recognised correctly as you — not a competitor — when we compare your blog’s SEO against others (Studio and Agency plans).
  • Blog publishing to WordPress rebuilt
Reworked how blog posts publish to WordPress: posts now arrive built from your site’s own theme and blocks instead of as plain, unstyled text, there’s an in-app preview that matches what actually publishes, new posts default to Draft on your site so you can review before going live, and a new blog style-settings page lets you set your preferred layout.
  • Unified Media Library
Replaced three separate library screens — Galleries, All Photos, Collections — with one Media Library for browsing and managing every photo in one place, including hand-picked collections and bulk actions like tag, move, and delete.
Improved
  • Couple approval: a quick "Ask for approval" action
If you’ve turned on couple approval for a project, there’s now an inline button right on a post so you can request their sign-off without leaving the page.
Fixed
  • AI captions now respect the real length limit for each platform
Fixed an issue where an AI-generated caption could come out too long for the platform you were posting to — for example, over Instagram’s caption limit.
  • Accessibility fixes on blog pages
Fixed a toggle switch that screen readers couldn’t announce properly, improved the contrast on the active navigation highlight, and fixed a layout overflow on the blog editor’s header on mobile.
  • Fixed missing links to caption templates and blog style settings
Two settings pages existed with nowhere to reach them from. Caption templates and blog style settings are now linked from Settings and the blog toolbar.
  • Login stays reliable during a rate-limiting hiccup
Fixed an issue where a misconfigured rate-limiting service could break sign-in entirely — the app now falls back gracefully instead of failing.

Week of 29 June

29 Jun – 5 Jul 2026
New
  • Permanently delete a published photo — from the web or from Lightroom
You can now hard-delete a published photo, either from the web media library or straight from Lightroom. There’s a confirmation step so you don’t do it by accident, it’s handled safely if the photo is still in use elsewhere, and deleting it in Lightroom keeps the web library in sync.
  • "All Photos" view, plus moving photos between galleries
See every photo across every gallery in one place, filter by tag, and move photos from one gallery to another (with a clear message if some can’t be moved). Also fixed a bug where moving a photo could silently drop it from a post you’d already scheduled.
  • Lightroom captions and hashtags now flow straight into the composer
Create a post from a photo you published through the Lightroom plugin, and the composer fills in the caption and hashtags from that photo’s Lightroom metadata automatically — no more starting from a blank box.
  • Our privacy policy and terms of service are live
Added public privacy and terms pages, along with the site work needed to make them properly discoverable.
Improved
  • Compose screen: emoji picker, AI shorten/hashtags, and quick-start templates
The post composer now has a full emoji picker, an AI-assisted "make shorter" and "add hashtags" on your drafts, and templates to start a new post from instead of a blank page. Also fixed a bug where saving a quick draft before choosing a platform or project could fail.
  • Founding-member waitlist signup, tidied up
Signing up for the waitlist now remembers your marketing-email preference and sends you a proper welcome email, and the whole flow is more reliable end to end.
  • Homepage, pricing, and the new /lightroom page
Reordered the homepage so the scheduling pitch comes first, added a hero image built specifically for Lightroom Classic users, redesigned the AI-demo section, and added a new "Best Time to Post" tool. Launched a dedicated /lightroom feature page, fixed several pricing-page issues, corrected some page-title wording, fixed a mobile navigation overlap, fixed a broken preview image when sharing the pricing page link, and trimmed a text-heavy section down for easier reading.
Fixed
  • Photo detail view and camera (EXIF) data, corrected
Fixed the photo-detail view so it shows the whole photo instead of a cropped version, and fixed the camera-info panel so it shows the right data — including for photos loaded via "Load more", which used to get stuck on "No camera data". Also fixed a bug that could drop copyright, creator, camera, and location details when a photo was stored — nothing was ever lost from your original files, this only affected what we displayed going forward, and it’s now corrected.
  • Plan limits now line up correctly across the app
A few areas — bulk post actions, the social inbox, and the grid-planner tool — weren’t consistently checking your plan. They’re now aligned with what’s listed on our pricing page.
  • Fonts loading properly, every time
Fixed a bug that could stop some custom fonts from loading correctly. Fonts are now served directly and load reliably.

Week of 22 June

22–28 June 2026
New
  • One place to manage your account
A single settings area now covers your profile, notification preferences, avatar, and connected accounts — no more hunting across pages for the one setting you need.
  • Team accounts
Invite teammates onto your account with proper roles, see who’s on the team, require sign-off on certain teammates’ posts before they go live, and switch between workspaces if you work across more than one.
  • Referral program
Refer another supplier and you both win: you get a free month once they go paid, they get a discount. There’s a referrals page, a leaderboard, and safeguards against people gaming it.
  • Help center, feedback, and a public roadmap
A proper way to get in touch — a contact form on the free plan, tracked tickets on paid plans — plus a place to submit feature ideas and see what we’re building next.
  • Onboarding tips and a fairer way to cancel
New users now get helpful pointers and small wins celebrated as they learn the product. If you ever want to cancel, it’s a straightforward, no-pressure flow with an honest discount offer, not a maze.
  • A blog, written and optimised in the app
Write blog posts directly in WedSchedulePro with live SEO scoring as you type, keyword and competitor research, reusable templates, and one-click publishing to WordPress or Showit.
  • Couple approval, opt-in per project
If you turn it on for a project, you can now get your couple’s sign-off before a post goes out, over a simple email link — no WedSync account needed on their end. It stays off by default; turning it on is entirely your call, per project.
  • A portal for submitting weddings to blogs
A two-sided system for submitting real weddings to wedding blogs for feature, with a review flow and photo-sharing that respects consent throughout.
  • Free accounts for verified bloggers
Verified bloggers can now get a free, creator-level account built around running a blog — no billing involved.
  • A submission engine built around each blog's own rules
A new system shapes your photos and words into exactly what each partner blog asks for, with a directory of blogs to submit to and a clear view of where each submission stands.
Improved
  • Dashboard, calendar, composer, and navigation — a visual refresh
The dashboard now shows an honest activity summary and what’s coming up next, the calendar has a real week view with post thumbnails, and the composer has a cleaner two-column layout with a live Instagram preview. Navigation and the header now match our design system everywhere, and there’s a new command search (Cmd/Ctrl+K) to jump to anything, plus a notification bell for an in-app feed.
  • Deeper analytics, with plain-English insight
Analytics now surface what your numbers actually mean — evidence-backed observations about your posting performance, not just a wall of raw stats.
Fixed
  • Clearer error when a post can't go out
Fixed a mislabelled error message that appeared when a post was blocked by a consent setting — it now says what’s actually wrong.
  • “Posted” badge behaving correctly on YouTube
Fixed a bug where the "posted" badge on a YouTube upload could disappear when it shouldn’t have.
  • A more reliable Canva reconnect prompt
The prompt to reconnect Canva now only shows up when a reconnect is genuinely needed, instead of guessing.
  • Real names, not placeholders
Approval and submission screens now show the actual person’s name instead of placeholder text, plus a batch of smaller usability fixes turned up during an internal design review.

Week of 16 June

16–21 June 2026
New
  • Day one: sign-up, sign-in, and your own private account
The foundation went in first — you can create an account and sign in, and every account’s data is kept fully separate from every other account’s. Nothing above this gets built without it.
  • Team workspaces — Owner, Manager, Member
More than one person can now share a single account. Add teammates with Owner, Manager, or Member roles, seat limits that match your plan, invitations to bring people in, and an optional approval step for actions that need sign-off before they go out.
  • Paid plans, live
Billing runs through Paddle. A free trial converts to a paid plan automatically, usage limits ease off with a grace period rather than cutting you off mid-task, a failed payment gets a retry window before dropping you to Free, and there’s a billing screen for upgrading or downgrading whenever you want.
  • A publish gate that checks for consent, every time
Every post now passes a consent check before it goes out. By default, that records the photographer’s own confirmation that they have the right to use the photos. On any project, a photographer can instead switch on couple approval — nothing publishes until the couple has actually granted it.
  • Notifications, in-app and by email
You’ll now hear about the account and content events that matter — in the app and by email — with no duplicates or repeat alerts for the same thing.
  • A media library that's never a flat pile of photos
Every photo lives inside a named project from the moment it’s uploaded. Add tags, see where and when each photo’s been posted, and leave notes on individual images.
  • Photos processed automatically, delivered securely
Upload once and we generate the right sizes for each platform behind the scenes. Full-resolution downloads only ever go out through a secure, gated link, and GPS data on a photo can be turned into a readable place name.
  • An AI writing assistant for captions and hashtags
Generate post captions, hashtags, and wording variations, and save reusable caption templates that follow your own brand voice.
  • Vision AI reads the photo, not the person
Photos can now be analysed automatically to help write more relevant captions. That analysis only ever looks at scene, mood, and composition — it’s built so it can never identify or match a specific person.
  • The scheduler itself: write, schedule, publish
The core engine is live. Write a post, schedule it, and it publishes automatically to your connected accounts.
  • Send a photo to Canva and bring the edit straight back
Connect your Canva account, send a photo over to edit, and the finished version comes straight back into your post. You can also leave an edit in progress and pick it up later.
  • A guided setup for new accounts
New users get a guided flow to get active quickly, including clear handling for anyone whose Instagram is a personal (not Business) account, and the ability to leave onboarding partway through and pick it back up.
  • Our own logo and look
WedSchedulePro now has its own logo, wordmark, and favicon, shown throughout the app.
