AI captions

Tell the story. Shape it into a caption you'd post.

Type the day the way you'd tell a friend, rough notes and all. The caption chat turns it into a caption, then you ask for shorter, warmer or a question at the end until it's right. Every version marks what to check, and you pick the one that goes in.

Included on every paid plan, with monthly AI chat credits.

The caption chat docked beside a post in the Write step: the photographer's rough notes of the day, a caption version with its hashtags and character count, a "Worth a check before you post" line under it, and a "Use this caption" button.

You know what happened on the day. The hard part is turning it into a caption that sounds personal, not like every other post in the feed. Starting from a blank box, or rewriting a draft by hand, is where the evening goes.

Start with the story, not a blank box

Paste a draft, type a few rough lines, or let the chat ask you about the day. It works from what you give it and shapes it into a caption, so the details only you know are the ones that end up in the post. Prefer to start from the photos? That's one tap too.

Ask for changes the way you'd ask a person

"Shorter." "Warmer." "Fewer emojis." "Add a question at the end." "Check my spelling." Each answer comes back as a new version with its hashtags and character count, so you can compare them side by side. Pick the one you like. Changed your mind? Undo puts the last one back.

Two caption versions side by side in the caption chat after "Shorter" was applied, each with its hashtags and character count, and the Undo button in view.

You choose what it reads, and you check before anything posts

Switch on only what the AI may use: the photos, your notes of the day, the venue, the couple's names, the suppliers you worked with and your brand voice. Anything in a version it couldn't trace back to those is marked "Worth a check before you post". Nothing goes out until you put it in your post and schedule it.

The caption chat's "What the AI can use" list open, with a switch for each source: Photos, Notes of the day, Venue and location, the couple's names, Suppliers and Brand voice.

How it works

  1. Open the caption chat.

In the Write step of a post, choose "Chat with Teal, our caption AI" under the caption box.

  2. Tell it the story.

Rough notes are fine. Check the list of what the AI can use and switch off anything you'd rather it left out.

  3. Shape it, then use it.

Ask for changes until a version is right, then press "Use this caption". Schedule the post as you normally would.

Does it make things up?

It's told to use only what you give it: your words in the chat and the details you've switched on. AI can still get a detail wrong, so every version marks anything it couldn't trace back to those, under "Worth a check before you post". That check can miss things too, so read each version before you post it. The AI never posts anything itself.

Is it on the Free plan?

No. The caption chat, like all our AI captions, is on the paid plans: Solo, Studio and Agency. Free covers the basics, including client approvals.

How many can I use?

Every paid plan comes with AI chat credits each month. One credit is one message you send in the chat.

AI chat credits a month, by plan
PlanAI chat credits a month
Solo400, about 100 captions
Studio1,200, about 300 captions
Agency3,000, about 750 captions

Credits refresh on the 1st. A meter at the top of the app shows how many you have left this month; click it to see when they renew or to move up a plan. Each chat holds 15 messages, and you can start a new one whenever you like. Quick drafts ("Just draft it for me") don't use credits. If you run out, the versions you already have stay, and the chat is back on the 1st.

Will it sound like me?

It starts from your words and your brand voice and keeps your phrasing where it can. You decide which version goes in, and you can edit it like any caption.

Does it read who's in my photos?

It reads the scene, never who's in the photo. Names only come from what you type or the couple's names you switch on, and those are locked unless the couple's consent is recorded.

Do I need ChatGPT or Claude?

No. The caption chat is built into WedSchedulePro. If you already use your own AI assistant, it can read a post's caption details and check a caption too.

I'm not a wedding photographer. Does it still work?

Yes. Tell it about any shoot, event or day you've delivered photos for; it uses your client's names instead of a couple's.

Your story, in a caption you'd post.

Unlimited AI captions on every paid plan, plus monthly AI chat credits for when you want to shape one together.
