Cookie Policy

1. What this covers

This policy explains how WedSchedulePro uses cookies and similar storage-and-access technologies on our website and app. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), non-essential cookies may only be set with your consent, or where a specific exception applies — this policy is honest about which is which.

2. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

We use a small number of essential cookies to run the service — for example to keep you signed in, to remember your session, and to protect against fraud and abuse. These are required to provide the service you ask for and, under PECR, do not need consent. You cannot turn these off while using the service, and they never track you for advertising.

3. Product analytics — cookieless

Inside the app, our product analytics is cookieless: it sets no persistent identifier on your device, stores nothing on your device, and produces only aggregate statisticsabout how the service is used so we can improve it. It does not track or profile you across websites and is not connected to advertising. We rely on the PECR “statistical purposes” exception for this, so it does not require a consent banner — but you always have a simple, free way to opt out (see Section 6). The cookie-setting trackers on our public marketing pages are a separate thing, and they are covered in Section 4.

4. Analytics and advertising cookies (only if you accept)

On our public marketing pages — not inside the app — we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used, and the Meta advertising pixel to measure how well our ads work. Both set cookies that are not strictly necessary: Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_*, and the Meta pixel sets _fbp. The Meta pixel is an advertising and cross-site measurement technology, so we ask for your consent before either one loads.

We ask through a clear accept/reject choice, with these cookies off by default until you agree. Rejecting is one click, exactly like accepting, and nothing on the site works differently if you decline. If you have not chosen, or you decline, neither tracker is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time using the control in Section 6, and we will update this policy before we add any new non-essential cookie.

If you accepted earlier and then change to reject, we stop loading both trackers from that moment. Any _ga or _fbpcookie already stored on your device stays there until it expires or you clear it — you can remove it yourself in your browser’s settings at any time.

5. What we never do

We never set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies without asking you first, and we set none of them inside the app — the trackers in Section 4 run on our public marketing pages only, and only if you accept them. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

6. Managing your choices

You can accept or reject the analytics and advertising cookies described in Section 4, and change that choice later, as often as you like. You can also opt out of our cookieless product analytics at any time using the control we provide. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings too, though essential cookies are needed for the service to work. To ask a question about cookies, email privacy@wedschedule.pro.

7. Changes

We will update this policy whenever our use of cookies changes — in particular before we introduce any new non-essential cookie — and we will note the date of the latest change at the top of this page.
